I am in Egypt and I would like to create a small store for printing digital photos and get payments with credit cards, can I do this here in Egypt or as usual I need to get a US bank account

with osCommerce you can use any merchant account. :D

if you get one in Egypt, you can link it to your Egyptian bank acct.

Egyptian banks do not have a way of communication through electronic banking systems, so how would I use a merchant account and with which module ?

hm....I'm not sure. :?

I know, that for US merchant acounts you need a US bank account, and for a US bank account you need a US ID, address and who knows what else, sometimes they even want to know what you had for dinner :lol:

 

you might want to check out off-shore, or European banks.

just make a search in google or else.

Actually, I did some search and found one comapny 2checkout.com they do transfer money by wire transfer or checks and osCommerce has module for that :)
