procarparts Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I may have atleast two sites running off one database to keep all stock and invoices on the same database. There are a few problems I see so far, one being that all settings will transfer over, including store name..which is a problem. Another is order id, is there a way to set order ids starting with atleast a letter? or is there a way to run off one database and have it distinguish one order from one store against the other? Or am I better off running one website per database? I only ask because the old website that I am currently updating, actually had 4 website running off one database, and each site would generate its own unique invoice id (atleast the beginning ie. pcp1000 sed10001 and so on)
