Guest Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm beginning to feel like a nutcase on here today. I managed to bootleg fix my recent problem and have come upon this. I have launched OSCommerce sites before, but this one is a doozy. I am able to add products to the shopping cart. However, when I attempt to Checkout or Create An Account I get the "No input file specified" error. The store is only using the Paypal payment module. I once installed the Paypal Pro module, but now have the "Enable" set to False. If it has nothing to do with the payment modules, then could it be a database issue? Again... Thanks in advance.
Guest Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 The shopping cart adds items and stores it in the browser cookie from session to session. So, must it be mySQL?

Guest Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 oscommerce-2.2ms2-060817 and I downloaded it here. Thanks for asking. Since last night, I reinstalled the catalog folder with the most recent version (oscommerce-2.2rc2a) and reloaded the original database. It seems to work fine, however I have to rebuild the template and add the add-ons all over again. Good thing I took detailed notes of everything I did, otherwise I would change my profession and become a lumberjack in the remote wilderness of Alaska. I think it was something very minor with the code. I had removed the right and left columns to make it a single column template. I'm not sure so I'll just do it over again and clean it up. I'm not sure why the language switched to German though. That's very strange. This was after no changes were even made. It switched after going live with the site. What version of osc and where did you get it?
Guest Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 A lumberjack in the remote wilderness of Alaska sounds good, but I would really like to drive a truck in Iraq. I am "playing" with oscommerce-2.2rc2a and it is ok so far. I don't know about keeping the oiginal db though.
Guest Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Ahh... bombs exploding all over the place. Very similar to this current project. Well, there's no way that I'm reentering over 300 different items with 3 to 5 different styles per item. Hmmm. :'( A lumberjack in the remote wilderness of Alaska sounds good, but I would really like to drive a truck in Iraq. I am "playing" with oscommerce-2.2rc2a and it is ok so far. Homicide Rocker Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 In slightly non-related news (I'm adding it here because this topic is easy bait for the search query "no input file specified"), I had the same thing happen to me with the product_info page. After a couple hours of hell, I finally figured out that it was because I had changed the My Store configuration to enable search-engine safe URLs. I disabled it and everything was fine.
