search in header

Hi all

 

Im puzzled, Ive been working on a shop of mine for 6 months and have reinstalled oscommerce about 5 times (just learning),

I now have a vision of what i want my website to look like. And to me design is very important,

 

My site in progress is www.aztec-online.co.uk

 

My question is! how can i make that search bar in the header, not sit under the logo space or sit above, but sit to the right?

 

And question 2? I would like it not to pick up the stylesheet.css i want it to blend right into the header, or in other words i dont want it to be like an infobox? just to float in the blue..

 

My design concept is to have black all the way down the column_left.php and have no column_left.php.

ok ive replaced that text in red with the one bellow,
