Measha06 Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 If you have created an email letterhead that you use in Outlook, how would you apply this to the newsletter or emails sent direct from the site. So that when you did mass mailing with newsletters/emails from the site, you preserve and continue the look of the site rather than a plain white background that looks so amateurish. I want to create a more stylish business look from my site newsletters and emails. Advice and opinions would be welcomed and any suggestions would be considered. Measha06 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 I'm looking for the same thing... Newsletters can be sent in HTML, so it must be feasable no ? This is the advice I received from elsewhere: Change the newsletter function on signup (and the remove me from function in My Account) so it adds the user to my campaignmonitor service. Then I use campaignmonitor (and their tested templates) to send out any mailing that I do. But I personally do not understand how to do the:- Change the newsletter function on signup (and the remove me from function in My Account) so it adds the user to my campaignmonitor service but perhaps you might. Hope this helps you, if you do know the how bit perhaps you would let me know. Liz A very appreciative member still attempting to climb the steep learning curve!

Measha06 Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 I am also Interested in a better way to use the newsletter. I use the "simple visitor newsletter v2.1" Contrib but thats not much help either...Please share your solutions! The only solution I have found is to export the customers list then create your email on http://www.campaignmonitor.com/ then I choose to use 5 emails at a time to send out the emails as this is free otherwise you can import your customer list and send it out on mass and incur a small charge. I have not found away of customers being automatically added to the campaign monitor list as they are registered but I am sure there is a way! If you can work this out then I would appreciate being let know. I just export new list of customers every time I wnat to do a new email. regards Liz Liz A very appreciative member still attempting to climb the steep learning curve!
