Deleted Orders

Hey

 

I made a bit of a school boy error by deleting a customers order rather than my own test order. We do have a copy of the order and we have payment which is fine it is just the order now won't show in the customers account history.

 

Is there any way to recover deleted orders or has it now gone from the datebase?

No, there isn't. Your host may have a backup of your database though. In which case you could use that information as long as the orders have changed since that one. But the chances of corrupting your database is high with that so I wouldn't try it unless you are familiar with the process or if you are willing to just have the whole database replaced.

Thanks for that Jack, I thought as much.

 

I shall be honest and let the customer know what has happened. The customer could always make the order again as she phoned in her payment should she wish for it to show in her order history. The customer is a regular so I am sure they will be understanding
