Guest Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I am new to oscommerce programming. I have had my site up now for about a year. I thought it would be a good idea to add the header tags contribution. after adding a few suggested lines in admin/includes/filenames.php, admin/includes/languages/english.php, admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php now when i login to my admin page and click on anything such as files, customers, orders, etc. it comes up with Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in c:\websites\surveyorsplace209\surveyorsplace.com\oscommerce\admin\includes\boxes\catalog.php on line 26 I can't do anything about it because i can't open any files to undo the added lines. I have a backup but don't know how to do it with out going into admin. The website is www.surveyorsplace.com Thanks for any help you can give me. Brian Quote

If you are changing files via "filemanager" then you really shouldn't as it's extremely buggy. if you don't have an FTP program then I recommend the free filezilla (google it) When you get your hands on the files through filezilla you need a decent file editor .. I recommend conTEXT (again free) (google it). I'm sorry that this doesn't help your immediate problem but it will certainly save you a lot of grief in the future.
