seomichael Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I found an issue with SEO-G with the category file names. The problem is as follows: Example: My category structures go something like this: Commercial Umbrellas > Patio Umbrellas > Product My upper most category filename is working exactly as I wish. I want the file name to be commercial-grade-umbrellas. When it comes to the highest category level, this works fine. http://mywebsite.com/commercial-grade-umbrellas.html The product filenames also work fine -- exactly as I need them to work. However, the problem seems to stem from sub-categories. For instance, I wish for the filename of the category 'Patio Umbrellas' to be patio-umbrellas, so I have input this as the filename within the SEO-G controller. However, SEO-G is changing the filename into commercial-grade-umbrellas-patio-umbrellas -- adding the higher category filename into MY inputted filename. Can we get around this? In addition, I would also like all of the URL's to show up using www. It currently isn't using the www. Links from the SEO pages are showing with URL's such as http://mywebsite.com/ as opposed to showing how I would like them to show: http://www.mywebsite.com/ Can this be corrected? Thanks
