Googlebot and strange urls

Hi,

 

In my whos online screen I have been seeing googlebot looking at some very strange urls

 

here is one that it has just been looking at :

 

/index.php?amp;amp;sort=2a&page=1&products_id=76&language=en

 

Any ideas on why this is happening and where i need to be looking to fix it.

 

I have chemos SEO url's and sitemap contribution on my site.

that looks to me like what you get when you have SEO urls installed but you turn it off leaving the SEO URLs modified tep_href_link in includes/html_output.php

 

If your site is working ok maybe you got crawled while installing.

I have has seo urls installed for about a year, never had it turned off.

 

The site is working fine, and googlebot 99% of the time is viewing correctly formed seo urls, just every now and then i see him looking at something like the above.

 

Doesnt appear to be causing me any problem as such, just strange how it happens only occaisionally,

Hmmm well it looks worrying to me then .. have you tried a page where the products are listed in a row and you need to go between pages page>1>2>3 etc .. you may have an seo url prob there especially if you are using 2-2.2e

Another strange thing, it is only googlebot that seems to do this, yahoo and the others i have not seen do this.

 

I have viewed as much of my site as i can, including multiple page pages and i can not get any funny urls to develop.

 

I have looked at the pages of my site that google has in its index and they all look fine to?

 

the only slight strange thing i can see in googles index is my index page is there about 40 times each with a different ending

for example /index.php?language=en&filter_id=82

 

still only returns my index page, what does the filter id refer to?
