Help Installing Oscommerce....

New to this and sorry for sounding STUPID.

 

I have downloaded the the the osCommerce 2.2 MS2 zip and have uploaded the catalog folder to root directory of my website via FTP, and gone to my address http://www.mydomain.com/catalog

 

But somehow im unable to do the instillation what am i doing wrong.... :wacko:

 

I know i'm being thick im sorry..

 

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY ADVISE ME

 

 

Im also using phpMyAdmin from my domain hoster.

It maybe that your files were corrupted during upload, or possibly before.

 

It can be a good idea to zip your catalog folder before upload, then unzip them from your hosting account control panel.

 

This may work, or you could wait for someone more knowledgeable to help you.

You don't need to type /install .. osCommerce recognises empty configure files.

 

Looks to me that what isn't recognised is PHP on the server.
