Michael The text on the front page clearly spells it out. Hope you have learned to make backups before editing, and to not use the admin filemanager.

Yes I've learnt those errors. But it isn't clear at all, most sites like this say click here to add your own text but there is nothing to click! just green highlighted text which means nothing.

You need to ftp the file to your pc, then open it in a text editor to make the changes, then ftp the file back to where it came from.

ONION Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 get yourself some compatible ftp software such as freeftp etc that will work with your mac. then in cpanel under ftp accounts create a new ftp account for your site. then, use this ftp login information in the ftp program (say freeftp etc) you then locate the file on your serve using the ftp program, download it to your computer... make the changes in notepad (or html editor) and then save and re-upload replacing the file on the server. if you dont undertsnad my instruction which are simple, have a read through the site that provides the ftp software such as freeftp etc... a play and get used to using the program. its one of those things that once you get it right once you will be saying 'ahaaaaa, that was easy' lol
