Can someone please advise me on the best way to upgrade from a heavily customised version of OSC? I've migrated the server which uses php5 and mySQL5.

How can I first check what version of OSC I've got?

My files seem to have been created in August 2003.

I've tried to follow some upgrade tips but when I've been asked to change catalog/index.php I've found that that file is in fact called default.php

Would appreciate any tips.

If it were me I'd start by trying to import the database to a vanilla MS2.2/RC2a because that's the easier way. Then compare the database to a vanilla RC2a install and see/change the discrepencies.

If you have loads of mods and you are not great at coding I'd probs go the MS2.2 route then apply the RC1/2/2a upgrades.

I'm first trying to figure out what version of OSC I've got so that I know the MS 2.2 route is the right way but I haven't got a clue how to check what version of OSC I'm using.

Escuse me for being thick but what's "Vanilla MS2.2/RC2a"? I thought that was an ice cream flavour?

Thanks
