product listing shows link for sample product not in database

I have emptied my database and have only 1 product in it. However, a sample OS commerce product is still showing on the product information page and subcategory pages but it is not in the database.

 

Can someone look at this and help please.

You're using an outdated version of osCommerce which has a bug in it which doesn't delete products in a Category when you delete the Category the products are in.

 

You need to upgrade at least to osCommerce 2.2 MS2 (060817), which is available from Source Forge dot Net
