BoxMediaUY Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Hi there, I've got some big issues with the login and checkout and can't find a solution.. I'm kinda new to osCommerce... I've bought the Domain and Hosting Recently like 24-48 Hs ago and uploaded everything yesterday... The problem is, when I try to go to the checkout or login, or even register a new member section, I either get a connection error with the server ("Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.futuretronicsmiami.com") or it just takes me to an empty Login.php page, as if the location headers didn't work or something... I'm getting really nervous with this because I can't seem to find a solution and I need my website up and running asap. If you guys want to check it out for yourselves, the website is http://www.futuretronicsmiami.com Thanks. :thumbsup:
Mav666 Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Looks like it is looking for a secure server - you need to either purchase a SSL cert and get it installed with your site or turn SSL off in the configure.php - I'd strongly recommend the former. Even at a Mensa convention someone is the dumbest person in the room.

Are you using a shared SSL or do you have your own SSL certificate?

I do have purchased an SSL certificate, though I'm waiting for the final authorization I just bought it 2 days ago. Once I have the Certificate, is it to hard to 'set it up' on osCommerce? Again, thanks for your time.
BoxMediaUY Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 I've got another problem now, I used the Secure Admin contribution, and it works fine on my local server, but when I uploaded it, it didn't work. It gives me a similar problem as the one with the login/checkout, could it be the missing SSL as well? Thanks.
