checkout_process.php (3mins)

Hi everyone,

I am currently running on a Dual Core AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 2 x 2.2 GHz, 2 GB, 2 x 250 GB drives &

Fedora Core 4 (Linux) box.

My issue: I am getting several complaints from customers that either my checkout_process.php page is timing out or

it hangs for 3 mins before proceeding to checkout_success.php.

 

My first thought was that it was my gateway "linkpoint" or processor "card services" but I did a test transaction and saw I got an approval code, email confirmation in my inbox, receipt of sale and a welcome letter from my site within seconds and all this time the site was still waiting on checkout_process.php to finalize the sale to proceed forward too checkout_success.php.

 

Could this be a resource issue with the server or is it code related?

 

Any suggestions?
