bivaniszyn Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I haven't had any luck looking for a contribution that would allow a site visitor to select a quantity of different products and purchase them at one (or groups of) set prices based on product quantity or weight. The exact application is for a candy shop site that would allow a customer to "Build a Box" of chocolates (for instance) by mixing quantities of different chocolates until they met a quantity or weight maximum and then stop and checkout. I would have thought that something like this may be available for the gift basket market. Any suggestions appreciated! Quote

The discount group modification of Quantity Price Break Per Product (is found inside the more recent versions) looks a bit like that, on products quantity. But I might be wrong. Quote
digilee Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I've been looking but couldn't find it BUT a short while ago I did see something along the lines of checkboxes on the product list page or all products page. Something like that anyway. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Quote SolarFrenzy Solar powered gadgets at down to earth prices. CheekyNaughty Promoting British Design
candycanuck Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Would this idea work? Instead of using a mod, just use attributes. i.e. 10lb box of candy - up to 5 different choices candy choice 1 ... all candy choices available candy choice 2 ... all candy choices available + no 2nd option candy choice 3 ... all candy choices available + no 3rd option candy choice 4 ... all candy choices available + no 4th option candy choice 5 ... all candy choices available + no 5th option This way they could choose all the same or any variety they wanted. You would prepare it with equal amounts of each.. unless they chose one item more than once, indicating a desire to have more of that than the rest. Quote
