gman Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 Can someone help me by letting me know why i am having trouble connecting to my SSL pages at check out.... https://host8.webserver1010.com/mydomain/ca...2756195120776f8 Same problem when I click on "My Account". I get an "HTTP 404 - NOT FOUND" error! Same error with text and image links? Also while in ADMIN, CATALOG, then "Manufacturers", the image icons don't show up. Same for "Specials" section, the thumbnail image for selected video, let's say, is not visible, even though the link says..... http://www.mydomain.net/images/dvd/blade_runner.gif This is my third attempt at trying to get this resolved before starting to use oscommerce. Need to get the "customer order" phase corrected, hopefully before year end. My last posting is at: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php...8026&highlight= I think this is a great software and would like to implement it along with some of the contributions I've seen. Everything else seems to be working fine. Hopefully someone can guide me towards the problem and how to fix it. Thanks All. P.S. Well, seems my frustration is getting the better of me. I posted this message in "CONTRIBUTIONS" forum by mistake. Will post a correction message there. Guillermo Huapaya Jr www.decorativemerchandise.com [email protected]
gman Posted December 11, 2002 Author Posted December 11, 2002 The use of "mydomain" above is to replace my existing domain address. and my catalog directory is under a different folder name as well. Guillermo Huapaya Jr www.decorativemerchandise.com [email protected]
gman Posted December 11, 2002 Author Posted December 11, 2002 According my my ISP. use of the https address, is to be followed by the domain name, without the "www." before domain name, and without ".com or net" after domain name, which is what I've done, adding only the additional directory for the catalog (catalog_dir). My ISP tech support tells me that the addresses look ok as written. Guillermo Huapaya Jr www.decorativemerchandise.com [email protected]

gman Posted December 11, 2002 Author Posted December 11, 2002 Hey, Stephen Walker, here's the link of current oscommerce catalog www.directmark.net/mainplaza/ I've just read that the configure.php in catalog dir may not have all its components and was suggested that one copies the configure.php from the admin into catalog dir. I just did that, but, still have no success. Only now, i have showing, for the checkout link as example... sslserver/mydomain/mycatalog/HTTPS_SERVER/checkout_payment.php?osCsid=XXXXXXX It seems to be calling the https server again after my http server setting is called. sw45859 Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 you were told wrong you have to have the different ones because there are different settings in each
gman Posted December 12, 2002 Author Posted December 12, 2002 Thanks for the info. Will go ahead and apply my original configure.php file into catalog directory. Here's the posting within this forum where I've just read about the configure.php files. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27765 Guillermo Huapaya Jr www.decorativemerchandise.com [email protected]
