Deleting fields in Account creation form

Hi Forum,

 

I am trying to remove a set of fields from the account creation form. According to the oscommerce knowledge base, I should be able to do this by turning off the fields under Admin>Configuration>Customer Details section. The problem is that my configuration shows only the following fields: Gender, DOB, Company, Suburb and State. Where do I find the other fields like address and telephone/fax? That is a R3 article, that version is not yet released.

 

Despite frequent pleas the R2 knowledge base is gone.

 

You can change the lengths of some fields to zero and hide the fields on the screen.

Just comment out the fields that you don't want in create_account.php.

You may also have to make changes in form_check.js.php
