Thank you I hope you know what you are doing as surcharging is against the User Agreement in PayPal, except from UK to UK accounts.

I tried some contributions of "Paypal fee" but i don't know which one is compatible with osCommerce_PayPal_IPN_v2.3.3 Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you What you are asking to do is against the Paypal agreement. You are not allowed to charge your customers the fee's. Paypal considers it a cost of doing business and you are responsible to pay those fee's yourself unfortunately. I agree with you actually. Why should I have to pay 3%+ depending where the transaction is from just because my customers want to use Paypal? I don't really like it either. My credit card processor charged me 1.6% actual, no hidden fee's and Paypal is twice as much or more in the end. I sell a lot of high dollar items so my customers who use Paypal really cost me a lot of extra money. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to pass those fee's on it seems. We also used to charge these fee's and one day one of my customers filed a complaint with Paypal and they contacted telling me I couldnt do that and to change my policy or be suspended. Find other ways to make up for the 3%. For example, we offer free shipping on items over $150 dollars. If you pay with Paypal, you don't get this option. So many of my customer want the free shipping I only see like maybe 1 out of 25 orders go threw Paypal now days as where before it was more like 2 out of 3. Just one of those things. Visa, Mastercard etc, they also don't allow you to pass on the fee's. None of the credit card companies to. It's not just Paypal.
osmember Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Oh, I didn't know about that.. I give up. Thank you
