millsd61 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I am a new user to osCommerce. Its a great product but I am really strugling to get it working with PayPal Payments Standard. Without a method of charging customers for products they buy, there is little point in having a shopping cart.... so I'm really keen to resolve this. I am in the UK and have a UK PayPal business account (Website Payments Standard). When I try to install the PayPal Payment Standard module from "Admin>Modules" and I enter my merchant account into the module, all goes well until I try to test buy something. What happens then is, when I get to the Confirmation stage of checkout where it hands over to PayPal, I just end up getting the PayPal login page https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr .... its almost as if the hidden fields are not being passed over to PayPal...! I've checked the database and my merchant email address is in the Configuration table. This is happening in Live , I haven't got a Sanbox account so not sure if the same is true when accessing a sandbox account. What am I doing wrong? Is PayPal different in UK to USA? Do I need to use one of the dedicated UK modules? If so which one works with a "Website Payments Standard" business account? I really like the osCommerce product and I really want to use it, but if I cant get it to work with PayPal there is little point. I already have a CubeCart eCommerce site runing and working with PayPal, but want to upgrade to osC. Its a bit frustrating..... does anyone have any experience of this?I have read loads of threads and tried lots of different fixes, all to no avail.
