harg Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 ANY ANY ANY easy to understand advice and suggestions would be great for www.swisschocolatebox.com. I can't get payments working even though I have added several new contribs. Need IPN and Express Checkout installing (again) it worked well for 1 month then I tried the 'Standard Paypal' merge and things have escalated. Is the website smooth running bar this? Could I make checkout process faster and less pages to click through? Anything really? ps I have a lot of stock for Valentines Day but I may lose loads if the site's payment module remains how it is!!! Help please? Kindest regards and thanks JS Hargreaves

Kindest regards and thanks JS Hargreaves What I don't like of your shop: We cannot read your header... Grey product names in product listing are too smooth, please make them darker. You are using stock osc buttons, completely different from your website design. Your infobox corner gifts are different color than background. Your site seems to be too unprofessional to users that they are not really interested to buy from you. Sorry to say this. Please check completely your style, colors, images and correct them to appear as a professional online shop. I think that it is possible too with the stock osc design, if you do a clean job with css and images. I love oscommerce and OS software! Kindest regards and thanks JS Hargreaves It actually doesn't load too bad for me and I'm on a slow connection. The images need to be reduced in size (kb I mean not dimensions) If you haven't got software to do it there's a free online service that I used to use to great effect HERE you do tend to get far better reductions using .jpg than .gif Ultimate SEO Urls 5 PRO - Multi Language Modern, Powerful SEO Urls KissMT Dynamic SEO Meta & Canonical Header Tags KissER Error Handling and Debugging KissIT Image Thumbnailer Security Pro - Querystring protection against hackers ( a KISS contribution ) If you found my post useful please click the "Like This" button to the right. luckyno Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Why not to try white for infobox text? It will be good and swiss flag is red and white too. :D (I'm swiss :P) I love oscommerce and OS software! Guest Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I am also receiving an error message when trying to access the site. From a customer stand point, once you hit a page like that that's all she wrote. :(
