catagory count removal

How do you remove the number of products in a category shown on all pages under the catagories box?

 

ex.

Catagories

catagory1 (12)

catagory2 (5)

 

 

I'm assuming its in the catagories.php but cannot find it. I'm using RC2a w/ basic design pack contribution

It is a setting in admin called show category count.
