Here is the thing,

 

I have this original categories navigation:

 

 

And I want something like this:

 

 

Is there any contribution or some code that someone can point me at, or the files that I need to modify, I now that use DIV tags but until now I didn't find where to put them.

It's all controlled by CSS, look at the code and adapt as needed.
