Fredrik.r Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Hi! I know there are quite a few group discount contributions out there. But I am not sure that any of them can do this; Customer A has 10% in category 1 and 20% in category 2 Customer B has 15% in category 1 I am not sure but the easiest way may be to set up some category discounts and bind them to the customer groups. Some of them will have several different dicsounts in several categories (see first example above).
Guest Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 SPPC is the main contribution for group discounts and will do what you want. From the admin say you set up Group A and Group B. You can then for each product set the price for each Group so you can give discounts as you want .... but ... (there is always a but!!!) ... if you have thousands of products then it would not work in a reasonable way. There are other contributions such as Quick Group Discount Module For SPPC which will allow you to update discounts for a group easier or there is Easy Populate which may help. Choice is yours but check these out http://addons.oscommerce.com/category/search,sppc/page,1
Fredrik.r Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 Thanks! I know of SPPC and I've used it before. The issue here is that I want percent discounts per category rather than discounts per product.
