How can shoppers personalize products?

Hello

 

I will start offering personalized items in my shop. This means that shoppers should be able to enter their personalization details as soon as they choose a product and this info should be carried to the shopping cart, checkout process and I should see it in the order.

 

Ideally it should be a space field that can allow a limited number of characters depending on the item. If it is a small product it might take maximum 6 characters. A large item might take up to 11, etc. I should be able to indicate this max number of characters with a message next to the field.

 

I have been looking through the forums and contributions without luck.

 

Any ideas?

That will work. Your customers can have a text area to fill out or a text field. It is a very handy mod to have. Good luck.
