Having installed osCommerce and changed file attributes, I'm left with pages showing the osCommerce logo/heading and the sample products etc.

 

I've searched the forums but I can't find a straightforward explanation of how to change the appearance of pages to match an existing web site format. There seems to be no facility in the Admin manager to change page appearance.

 

Similarly, the heading tags controller does not make clear just what information should be entered into the fields presented. For example, if I want to list meta keywords which will be the same on all pages, what do I need to enter for the fields Title and Description? I assume that Page Name can be anything of my choice and that Keyword is self-explanatory?

you specify colors and styles in the stylesheet.css as for the meta tags I don't know what meta tag contribtion you have installed but most likely you can edit that in includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php (or whatever that file may be called)
