Hi,

 

I hope someone can help here,

 

We've got a client that needs a little script adding only to certain products that will calculate the length and width required of a product (ie - pond liner)

 

I've got a formula sorted out of

 

2D + L + 2 to sort out the length required

and

2D + W + 2 to sort out the width required

 

(D - depth of pond. L is length of pond. W is width of pond)

 

Then on top of that I need to be able to work out the price off it aswell, its say calculated length x calculated width x 0.5 with the answer coming out in pounds sterling and being able to be added to the cart.

 

But this price that its calculated by I need a box in the admin section that my client can alter if and when its needed.

 

I've seen stuff like this done before and I've put something together, but it doesn't work like it should do, cause it needs a script to be embedded into the header tags of the page, and when I build the jscript as a stand alone, it doesnt work at all.

 

I could really do with sorting this asap, if anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated. If I can work it out then I'll post the answer up for everyone incase anyone else has ever needed something like this.
