Error message that my site crashed. Please help

I went to look at my store today and found this message on all the store pages:

145 - Table './hsmom13_install_1197309575/whos_online' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

delete from whos_online where time_last_click < '1202163611'

[TEP STOP]

I have no idea what this means and where it came from. All was working when I checked a couple of days ago.

I can still get into the admin and add products.

Please help.

Go to the database in phpMyAdmin, click on the table and then select "Repair"

Thanks, Vger.

Can you tell me, please where to find phpMyAdmin, and how to find the table?

TIA.

Thank you all for your great input!

I found the spot and fixed the problem.

I went into the control panel for my host,

clicked on MySQL Manager,

under Data Base name clicked on Administer.

Then I got a list of the tables in the system, clicked on whos_online,

at the top of the next screen clicked on the database name,

checked the box on whos_online,

and at the bottom found a drop-down menu that had Repair as one entry.

That cleared up the crashed site problem.

Thank you for sharing your step-by-step. The same thing just happened to me and I was able to clear it up in just a minute.

Again, thanks so much!
