armysurplus Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Hi Guys n Gals, I guess most of you are using this software already and I have seen some quite nice designs with it. We are currently using Actinic v8 but are fed up to the back teeth with it. The program is soooo restrictive, it makes it difficult to change anything and then there's the issues with the db being offline so your stock is never correct etc. What I'm looking for is to hear from some of you saying how happy you are! Our current site is at http://www.army-surplus.org.uk and whilst we kinda like the design, we hate the admin. PS. The database is online in oscommerce isn't it so stock control isn't an issue and multiple people can login to the admin at any one time? Thanks.
jbehen Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Absolutely happy with it here. I run three sites using osCommerce, modified to support online fulfillment, rather than as a shopping cart. The flexibility to modify it run what I need, as opposed to what someone else thinks I should need, is one of the great benefits to osCommerce.
