Hi folks, i DEEEEEEPLY need help with this!

I need a TICKET SYSTEM integrated with OSCOMMERCE which allows the guys OPEN tickets only if they buy the MEMBERSHIP.

During 30 days after the guy buys, he has authorization to OPEN any number of TICKETS... After 30 days, if the guy didn´t renew his membership, he will not be allow to OPEN tickets (just read the old). If he buys the membership again, he will have 30 days to OPEN tickets.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Best regards.

i use: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1230

and it can be coded to allow customers to open tickets for 30 days only, after purchase. (something you have to add yourself though, it's not been released as an add-on yet)

you just code into your support page where they open tickets to query customers table (which is done by default, just force everybody to login before they can start a ticket), to ensure it's within the allotted time period.

check the date registered.

but if you allow customers to have multiple accounts, this could pose a problem.

but maybe you can do something similar by querying to the latest order # date.

Thanks very much. This is a really nice idea.

Do you have a demo site where i could test this SUPPORT SYSTEM with OsCommerce?

Thx again.

Best regards!

unfortunately, i've not seen a demo anywhere recently. it is a very easy install, and of course uninstall... if you decide it is not for you. :)
