Hi,

I would like to install osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 Release Candidate 2a and

I have installed WAMP5(MySQL - 5.0.21-community-nt,phpMyAdmin - 2.8.0.3,Apache 2.0.55) already.

But i'm realy newbie, i can not understand even read many times at the site the explaination.

here the steps I took then I got problem

1. Extract oscommerce to c:\wamp\www\catalog\

2. open ie: localhost\catalog\install\install.php

show up this page and i filled

database server : C:\wamp\mysql\data\test

username : admin

password : admin

database name : test

error message :here was a problem connecting to the database server. The following error had occured:

Unknown MySQL server host 'C' (11001)

Please verify the connection parameters and try again.

My question is :

1. How to fix it ?

2. is that database problem and how to create database ?

3. Is my wamp5 not support osCommerce ?

Hope your help

Sincerely yours,
