Server user name

Hello

 

Oscommerce dosn't allow my server username on step 1. Database Server. It dosn't reconise all what i put inn the field. I have a username on 19 char (It's not possible for me to change it! or make a new user!) and the program only registrer 16 char. Pleas help me.

 

Here's the message I get up:

There was a problem connecting to the database server. The following error had occured:

 

Access denied for user 'tcg-skandinavia.'@'srv81.one.com' (using password: YES)

 

Please verify the connection parameters and try again.

 

And the username "tcg-skandinavia." isn't my hole username, it's more too it.

 

Is there a way to change the program so it accept 19 char?
