export products table and import to another database

Hi all,

 

I used myphpadmin to export the products table into csv, ms excel format and then try to import into another oscommerce database because i have 2 stores. (one is live www.ywaste.net and the other is www.wanbeauty.com which is under implementation). but when i tried to import the table into the database. either i have error or no product details are imported.

why?

what format should i use for export and import?

if there both mysql databases then why not use sql?

Without knowing what the error was don't think you will get any solutions.

 

Don't forget all the other product related table you will need to transfer. Hope the table layout is the same on both shops.
