Is that where you ftped the image to? I assumed the page was in the "catalog", but if the page was in the includes diectory, then use

<img src="../images/some_other_image_directory/some_coasteragateset.jpg" alt="" vspace="5" hspace="5">

If none of the above, post url.

tried your code and still the image doesnt show.

the image is in catalog/images

simply try right clicking on the image and select view image.. what do you see as the URL ?? or else post the store link.. that would help a lot of us in helping you..

Also, did you make sure that in the configure.php file the settings are done correctly ?

Regards

Hari

just the two on the competitions page are not showing on my computer???? can you see them that strange?

The original code should be correct

<img src="images/some_other_image_directory/some_coasteragateset.jpg" alt="" vspace="5"

but why not change the directory to competitions, so you have images/competitions

and the filenames to feb_comp.jpg and jan_comp.jpg and use

<img src="images/competitions/feb_comp.jpg" alt="" vspace="5"

and

<img src="images/competitions/jan_comp.jpg" alt="" vspace="5"

The jan image is in shop

even if i change the directry it doesnt cure the fact that the images arent showing

That's right, it won't. You have to do the other as well.

the other what???

not sure what you mean?

Change the code line for the images to be

<img src="images/competitions/feb_comp.jpg" alt="" vspace="5"

and

<img src="images/competitions/jan_comp.jpg" alt="" vspace="5"

Create a competitions directory under images so that you have images/competitions

Rename the image filenames to feb_comp.jpg and jan_comp.jpg and and copy them to the images/competitions

directory

The rest of the text code has to be fixed later.

got ya i got it working, sorry to be a pain.

how do i control the size of the images

http://www.pegasusholistics.co.uk/store//competitions.php

as you can see they very different sizes

<img src="images/competitions/feb_comp.jpg" alt="" vspace="5" width="600" height="400"

but use the size you want to suit your images and layout of the page, and keep the image proportions. In the example I gave, I could use width="300" height="200" and not distort the image.

You should not expand an image size too much, it's ok to contract an image size.

superb people, all done much appreciated

One more problem to fix.

The feb image shows its location to be http://www.pegasusholistics.co.uk/store//images/competitions/feb_comp.jpg

other images show similarly. So go some of your pages when I look in the source code of the competitions page.

My guess is that you have an extra / in your store/includes/configure.php file. Have a look here. If you can't find it and decide to post the file, do NOT include the database information.
