Hi.

I tried to search the forum for help but couldn't find any...

My problem is that when I try to go to my shop from any computer except for my server I can't see any images at all.

I can see individual images if I write in the exact adress to them but not when i I go to the shop.

When I click on a category I get an errormessage.

I really don't understand where the problem might be.

Thanks in advance

//Daniel

If images do not display in IE, but they do in firefox, and

if the includes/configure.php files are correct,

and the images are in the /images directory,

and the permissions on the /images directory and the images are correct,

then, go to includes/application_top.php and where it says $request_type = (getenv('HTTPS') == 'on') try changing the "on" to "off".

If that fixes the problem, then in the HTML source of /index.php file:

<base href="">

should be something like:

<base href="http://www.yourdomain.com/">

Thanks, I will try that.

If this is the problem, does it has something to do with me not using ssl or am I out of track?

Doesnt anyone have a clue?

It doesn't work in either firefox or explorer.

The problem seems to be that it tries to find the pages and images in 127.0.0.1.

Is it installed locally?

In the index.php file, try this instead

<base href="<?php echo (($request_type == 'SSL') ? HTTPS_SERVER : HTTP_SERVER) . DIR_WS_CATALOG; ?>">

That is what I originally had so that doesn't work either.

The thing is that I have no problem at all with the site when it's accessed from the server, the problem comes when I try to acces it from other computers.

I'm pretty sure that my server is set up correctly because I can acces other html pages on it, It's only my oscommerce install that doesn't work.

Check your includes/configure.php files and see also if you have includes/local/configure.php files.
