rseigel
If you go that way, let me know. I get a referral credit. Is this really necessary? We don't need this to become a board of people trying to convince others to buy something so they can get "a referral credit" (otherwise known as SPAM). tkeats
I really dont see how its a bad thing. Why would *I* not promote a service I use and am an affiliate of to others that I think it might be helpful to. The fact someone might earn a small cut of any money payed isnt any concern. Tho, the fact that they pointed in a good direction should be good enough. If the site is helpful, its worth the kick back, if not, he won't get it for sure. Its true however, we dont want the site to become 'come use my service' spammed. But do you want to feel you can't post a helpful site and ask for credit for the referral if such a system is in place? Isn't that what showing appreciation is all about??? We really want to avoid having 30+ postings in this thread that only contain advertising. A perfect place for this is www.webhostingtalk.com. Seeing as the forum rules were agreed to I don't understand why advertising is still occuring. Harald Ponce de Leon
I hope you would not consider this as spam but [HPDL: CUT] Yes, that was spam. Regardless of the intentions this is not wanted as it is only seen as trying to hook potential customers. I hope you understand the situation. , osCommerce
