abilstein Posted December 9, 2002 Posted December 9, 2002 We would like to require delivery confirmation for all our domestic USPS shipping (currently First Class and Priority Mail only). Has anyone else done this? We want this to show up in the final checkout area with a new line listing "Delivery Confirmation" and the charge, and also to show up in the email invoice. There are different charges for Priority or First Class. Can anyone suggest the best method to do this to give me a head start, if it hasn't already been done? I searched the forums and didn't find a single mention of it. It occurred to me we could simply add a handling charge, but that's quite a cludge and we'd like to do it the right way if possible. :) I'm off to look at the code some more, but I though some more experienced users might point me in the proper direction. Thanks! ...Alex
sfatula Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Not what you wanted, but you may not be aware either. Go to the USPS web site, and click on Shipping->Ship, then print shipping label. You can print your own priority mail and express mail delivery confirmation label WITH NO CHARGE OF ANY KIND. Steve
abilstein Posted December 13, 2002 Author Posted December 13, 2002 I was not aware of that. That may actually work out better. Thank you! :) ...Alex
