FATAL ERROR after contribution install

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just installed the contribution: Linkmatics Attribute Sets Plus v1.2

and now I am receiving a FATAL ERROR message in the Configuration section of my ADMIN which reads:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare do_magic_quotes_gpc() (previously declared in /home2/damefata/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php:18) in /home2/damefata/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php on line 30

How can I correct this issue? Any advice is much appreciated.

Thank you,

~Annissë

Does it look like this?

// Ie, products attributes

function do_magic_quotes_gpc(&$ar) {

if (!is_array($ar)) return false;

reset($ar);

while (list($key, $value) = each($ar)) {

if (is_array($ar[$key])) {

do_magic_quotes_gpc($ar[$key]);

} else {

$ar[$key] = addslashes($value);

}

}

reset($ar);

}

I took that code straight out of RC1, so it should be right. Sorry, no idea.

Did the contribution change /admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php and or you have a backup of that file on your site and it has a php extension but a different name eg compatibility_orig.php

I did nothing to that particular file in /admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php when I installed the contribution and I have tried re-installing the original compatibility.php file and it made no difference.

Don't know. Check the contribution edits is all I can suggest.
