Installation questions

Hi,

 

I am about to open my first virtual shop but unfortunatly I am not very expirianced. I would be happy if somebody can take the time to answer my questions:

1. My hosting provider requires that SafeMode in PHP will not be off. Is that an issue with oscommerce

2. I found oscommece version traslated to Finnish on your website. Can I install it by replacing/overwriting relevant files after I do the initial installation
