Do you want to display secure and nonsecure items?

Hi I was wondering how you can fix the warning you receive when enetering a secured page like login. You get the "Do you want to display secure and nonsecure items, click yes, no or cancel? How can I fix this? Oh if the user clicks yes, then the lock disappears, if the user clicks no it goes to page and to what I can see, everything still works as well as lock shows.

Thanks for the help?

Tom

You just have to figure out what's causing it, and you can either remove it, modify it to work, or use some PHP to skip it.

If you post (or PM me) your URL, I'll help.

:)

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Hi Tom.

I just fixed this on my first-time OSC site yesterday.

**Make sure all your image links are relative.

Mine are relative, but here's the line that was causing this problem for me:

<BASE HREF="http://www.mysite.com/">

Took that out and then all my images were displayed from the secured site.

Extra info in case it is useful:

I have OSC online merchant v2.2 RC2. I have an HTML template and am also using STSv4.5.8.

I am using shared SSL. These are what I found to be the minimum of files/folders I had have a duplicate copy of on my shared secured site:

https://secured.com/~myfolder/catalog

https://secured.com/~myfolder/catalog/cache

https://secured.com/~myfolder/catalog/images

https://secured.com/~myfolder/catalog/includes

I also needed to have a duplicate of my non-OSC images on my shared secured site:

https://secured.com/~myfolder/images

https://secured.com/~myfolder/mystyle.css

-Good Luck!
