A Wish: Versioning Control Idea (Calling MS-Excel Gurus!)

I have been installing all kinds of mods over the past few months, and now my osC install seems so much *infested* and different from the virgin pack I downloaded and installed first.

 

I wish some MS-Excel gurus could make a small utility that we could use to pre-fill any changes (files/lines/old-code/new-code) and then implement mods on the real code.

 

This will serve two objectives:

 

1. Let each user have his own dated versioning system.

2. Help each user accurately back-track and update the code at the right spot in real time.

 

I do hope someone steps in to whip up a similar goodie.
