ocsnetworks Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I have noticed alot of Tax Error Questions on the forums. I also had the same problem, until I realized it was a simple look over. How to fix your problem. 1. Enter your Administration Panel. 2. On the menu, click "Locations/Taxes" 3. From the Menu click "Tax Zones" 4. Edit the current tax zones to your preferences. 5. Now click the the "Tax Zones" folder Icon. 6. Now edit this Zone to your preferences. ^^ This is the part most people forgot ^^ 7. Click "Tax Classes" from the Menu 8. Edit this Tax Zone to your preference. 9. Click "Tax Rates" and edit to your preferences 10. If you want to display your Prices, including tax ----> A. Click The "Configuration" from the Menu B. Click "Display Prices with Tax" on the bottom options. C. Edit --> TRUE This should fix the tax problems. Thanks, OCSNETWORKS

♥geoffreywalton Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Is there a tax rate set up that is applicable to the customer's location? 1. The customer's address is in a state/county 2. The county /state is in a country 3. The country/state or country/all zones should be in a Tax Zone 4. The tax zone should be linked to a tax rate in a tax class. I would think the problem is around step 3.
