US states do not appear in account_details.php

I downloaded a new snapshot of the application this weekend

 

modified the catalog/application_top.php in order to to set state to true

 

 

configured country & zone in admin/configuration

configured country code in admin/configuration shipping

 

(based in the USA)

 

 

I still do no have a drop down list in the catalog/create account like in old snaphsot . is there something to configure in in another screen now?

 

 

I use USPS & UPS and shipping seems to be calculated correctly

(need to enter state code manually in field when creating account.

 

if i do not enter a state, the validation come and only at that time the state drop box appears to ask to select a state.

 

 

is there something i need to configure
