Guest
I have looked through the contributions and don't see any contrib to allow the admin to edit a placed order... I had an order and the customer wanted to make a change to the order after it was completed and I had to delete the whole order & refund the PayPal, and then ask the cust to re-place the order. It would be nice to allow the admin to simply go in and edit an order already placed and recalculate any money owed (and to whom). Does anyone know of such an add-on? I would love to work on it, but alas, it is far beyond my grasp of abilities! Thanks!
sw45859
easiest way is to have the customer place another order and put in the comments section that it goes with the other order they placed, otherwise you would have to have the customer go to paypal and send the extra money to your e-mail and it wouldn't be documented in osc. Guest
he help, and I would agree the easiest solution to customer adding to the order... the example I gave was a customer changing items... "not that, but this instead"... which cost a different amount but not by much. I wanted to just do an edit of the order and waive the extra buck, or send a money request from paypal. I am still thinking it would be a nifty feature. It must be possible to do it by hand using phpMyAdmin going directly into the sql file..but not much fun I am sure!
