Paypal IPN

Hi,

 

I am trying to test Paypal IPN oscommerce module with the sandbox. The order is being passed to Paypal fine, I login with the fake buyer account, choose credit card that I set up, and proceed to pay however I get forwarded to a page that says page cannot be found click here to retry - but still has all the paypal sandbox logos on it, so its not a browser error page.

 

The order appears in my shop admin panel, but the shopping cart for the customer is still full so clearly the payment test did not work.

 

I have set up both a buyer and seller test account, with the seller email being my real email, and the one added to the paypal module within OScommerce. The buyer email is a fake one which is used also on the customer account on oscommerce. All emails are confirmed.

 

I have set IPN to 'on' in the business test account, I have auto return set to on, with a page to go to. Payment data transfer is on.

I am not using any encryption at this time.

 

Any ideas as to what I'm missing here? Its probably something obvious!

I tried again today and the order has worked! I get the confirmation message and sent back to the shop. Not quite sure what was wrong before, maybe the Paypal site was having problems. Thanks for replying to me.

There was some error in sandbox some three four days back.It was accepting echek but not test credit cards.

The sandbox guide states that sandbox does not require to use the real email addresses for both seller and buyer test accounts. I wonder if the sandbox works with Oscommerce only when you set the email address in Paypal Website Payments Standard within Oscommerce to be the same as the one with the seller test account which is fictional. And this is the way sandbox identifies which test account should respond.
