rs2k
My site is at http://www.kwdhome.com. I am getting people coming but I have lower than expected sales. I think the site is clean but I am getting a slight disconnected feeling when I browse the site and I can't place my finger on it. I think I need to explain my shipping rates better. What if I were to place a banner under the header and in between the columns that explain my current specials (Like free shipping)? I have had a few people come in and leave the page at the create an account screen. For that reason I am planning on installing the no account needed contribution. But you're using the stock standard osC button graphics, and their colours are not in keeping with those of your store. Ditto for using the standard pictures in the shopping cart contents. Also, the big blue bar in your header looks a bit wonky.. I'm not sure that having two rows works for you. I do like the shopping cart box, how you can adjust quantities on the fly. You shouldn't need to view the shopping cart contents over SSL - it doesn't contain personally identifiable information. The shopping cart link in the header is plain HTTP, but the one in your shopping cart box uses an SSL connection. In the header, where you have the "email us" graphic, I suggest that this be linked to a mailto: rather than the index file.. I hope I'm explaining myself clearly, because upon re-read, I think I'm not making much sense! It's good that you're using contributions for SEO, metatags and thumbnails. The first two will improve your rankings in search results, and the latter will make your customers happy that they don't have to wait forever to view your page. Overall, I think your site's pretty good :) Max
radders
Nice and simple and it mostly works. You need to sort out the reviews section as these kind of products need reviews. Interested in why anyone would buy a robot vacuum cleaner that takes half a day to charge up and only runs for an hour I clicked on the review button but kept getting put back to the product description. I liked the idea of the high tech scales than analyse the body fat etc. but what is a 'fuser'?

The term is used when the one who enters the product description does not completely proof read his entry. Thanks for the input! What can I do about adding user reviews? Only one of my buyers has added a review. Is it OK to load reviews I get from a manufactures website, or do they need to come from my customers? Is there a law or guide line about having reviews?
