Thanks in advance for all reviewsXavier Looks like the default layout but it's way to wide. I have my browser set to 1224x1054 and there is a left to right scroll on your page. I suspect this is because of the header whflogo3.gif. I would make that smaller. Also, many of your Categories images are not showing as they simply point to http://welcomehome.mmirc.org/images/ If you keep the default look, and there is nothing wrong with that, at least play with the CSS file and change some colors. wargaming
The site overall looks ok I run the stock look with some colour changes and a couple of tweeks and although people on here think it a big thing most of your customers wont know the difference I would take the above advice and play with the css file if nothing else just to change some colours. To make your site more user friendly an about us page is always helpfull (its one of the most viewed pages on my site) so your customers feel they can trust who you are ( if you do a search on here you'll find out how to do it ) also payment methods state what you use and accept and put it somewhere people can see it (avoid mass emails asking if you accept such and such a card) also theres a contrib getting rid of the stock images mainly because they look really bad thats always a good one to get. filling in your info pages ( I know your sites not finished yet but make this a big priority ) again it makes your customers feel more reasured and thats what you need to make sales. Really the best advice is to head over to the contributions section and have a couple of searches on what you think would make your site better and more user friendly. I like your banner it instantly tells people what you do but I would make it a little less wide if possible again following the above customers dont want to faff theres possibly 20 other sites doing what you do make it easy so they stay and buy. Hope this helps :)

Thanks in advance for all reviewsXavier I too run a stock-ish version as I think with minimal tweaking you can make it really look good a great majority of customers have no idea what oscommerce is. I think that you firstly need to sort your images out, in my opinion the biggest difference between a professional looking site and not is the quality of the images and many of yours (including those in the logo) are skewed / squashed. Also one of my biggest things is that the customer should be presented with what they want on the first page without having to touch anything. Your logo is so big that all the images of your products are pushed off the bottom. All I can see is the logo and a unformatted paragraph about your aim. Another one for me is the URL, personally I would change it to something easily rememberable and also something that may stand a better chance in the search engines..... Hope that some of this is a help !

I will make the pics larger from the admin section.
Arctic Fox
You need to fix your emailings. I don't receive registration confirmation, I did receive order confirmation. I don't receive emails when I recommend items to friends (my email address). After ordering I get sent to checkout_success.php, when I press continue I get sent to: index.php/action/notify/notify%5B%5D/66 Which gives me an HTTP Error 500: Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, support{at}ipower-inc.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. You've got some really nice items for sale, and the prices make me want to visit your store. :)
gforster
Thanks for your input. The URL is a subdomain from my other business. I will change it as I move closer to the offical launch. I will look into the logo and pics. I will make the pics larger from the admin section. Try the thumbnails on the fly contribution for the images, it will automatically resize and adjust the dimensions of your pictures so that they are always in proportion. Otherwise you will need to hand modify each image to make sure it conforms to the dimensions as specified in admin. Probably the best contribution I installed in my store.
