mattice Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Quick De-Activate v1.0 is a stand-alone Admin tool for 2.2-cvs. It allows you to quickly de-activate a lot of products without clicking the red buttons in the Admin each time. It will display all products in a selected category which you then can de-activate using checkboxes. Since it's a stand-alone tool it requires NO alterations to any osCommerce file whatsoever. Ajeh Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 For the most part seems handy. Except ... I have a number of categories without subcategories, so ... it will not list the products in these categories. Quote
mattice Posted December 5, 2002 Author Posted December 5, 2002 you mean categories that have a parent_id of 0? It will not list them, no. But the fix is easy, just change the dropdowns to a standard single one and you'll be okay... I have so many categories I specifically changed the dropdowns to be based on root categories... just to keep things clearer :D Quote "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
Ajeh Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 I know there is some english in what you just said ... but I am old and feeble and the day has been long ... so, do what to whom? :lookround: Quote
mattice Posted December 5, 2002 Author Posted December 5, 2002  right now it selects all categories that have a parent_id of 0 (the ones you see on default entry to the site) and makes a dropdown box of their categories for EACH OF THEM. All you need to do is rip that out and tell it to make one big one like you are used to see ( in search etc). But I'll make a version where you can select. Gimme a sec. Ajeh Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 But I like the cute little drop downs like you got them ... I just want the other way too ... as in both. :( Good thing I ain't greed in my wants and demands on code, eh? 8) Quote
