hobbyfan.com
Hi Do anyone have a solution on "how to speed up the database?". Some of my customer are experencing a slow down when visiting. The site have a Avg Daily hit in Nov. 916284, Pages 711095, and 1200 unique visitor daily. Are these normal traffic for the database to handle? Please check our site http://hobbyfan.com to see if the slow down affects you. This is a Live Site. Any input would be grateful. thanks Henry

Guest
I've got an sql database thats 15 MB with 250 tables that handles several times the traffic you stated. Thats no problem for MySQL. You might want to check your hoster's settings for PHP and MySQL, especially the RAM allowed. Regards, Pierre.
