Easy Populate csv files

Any idea why the easy populate csv files i download from my site include EVERY SINGLE product attribute even if a product doesn't have that attribute?

 

Please help.

But there are so many attributes that it exceeds the csv limit. This is a clothing store, there are hundreds of different colors and sizes. in the csv file i downloaded of the products already in the database each product has every single attribute available listed in its row - even if that product doesn't have that attribute assigned to it.

You may not have your attributes planned out as best as they could have been. There should only be one attribute named "color". Size is another attrib. Male Female is another. I can't imagine you need more than the csv would allow. Just my opinion.

I may not. If there's a better way, maybe someone could tell me. It is a royal pain adding attributes.

 

In the csv file each shoe size, for instance, gets its own column (13.5, 14.0 etc). Some boots come in up to 25 different sizes.
